Harpreet is the heart of Perfect Steps Learning. She created the company after her experience as an internationally educated nurse from India coming to practice in Canada—and wanted to make it easier for others. Her love of nursing and passion for teaching originally took shape as videos designed to educate nurses on the process to become certified in Canada, and quickly expanded to teaching hundreds of students around the globe in her courses.

“I would highly recommend Perfect Steps Learning to everyone who wants to succeed in the CELBAN. I took CELBAN classes from Harpreet and was able to pass the exam in first attempt just because of their guidance and practice materials. THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

Anju Jose

What our students say.

“This review center is highly recommended to nurses who are planning to take CELBAN. I feel that I received more than what I paid for. They have provided enough resources that enable you to practice anytime and anywhere. Their listening and reading practise tests are computer-based which is an advantage since these are also parts of CBT. We also had a mock speaking test and were given honest feedback to improve and focus on the exam properly. Lectures are well structured as well. I feel that this helped me with my writing task given the time constraint and challenging topics at hand. All in all, this review center had been a big part of my scores in CELBAN. I would gladly recommend this to anyone.”

asked questions.

The minimum requirement is to hold a diploma or degree in your home country. For example, an Indian IEN should have either a GNM (General Nursing and Midwife Diploma) or a BSC (Bachelor in Science) in Nursing to get started in Canada as these are the two programs recognized by Canada.

Yes! Most Canadian provinces and the USA accept GNM diploma holders.

  1. Get an education or academic assessment done by NNAS (or other recognized bodies).
  2. Fulfill the English Proficiency Requirement.
  3. Either challenge the Nursing Assessment Exams (NCAS/OSCE/IENCAP) and/or gain the additional education needed in order to fulfill the gaps in your competency assessment.
  4. Pass the NCLEX exam.

Yes, these steps do occasionally change and they can differ from province to province. Nursing regulatory bodies go through upgrades and changes as needed. We stay up to date with the policies so we’re always equipped with the strategies you need to become a RN.

The English Proficiency can be fulfilled by writing either IELTS AC or CELBAN. These requirements vary from province to province, as some provinces have other ways to meet language proficiency apart from IELTS or CELBAN.

No age limit! As long as you are physically and mentally healthy enough to become a nurse, you are welcome to take our courses.

It depends on a case to case basis, but the USA and Australia applications along with Canadian applications can fast track the process.

Simply contact us! You can fill out the contact form on our website, email us at, or call/text/ WhatsApp us on +1 (604) 613-2633. Let us know what you’re interested in, and we’ll get you signed up for the right course.

Most of our courses are online, which allows us to provide live and recorded zoom classes that can be accessed from anywhere in the world. However, we do offer the option for live, in-person sessions for select courses with clinical components in them.

Our NCLEX preparation course includes:

  • Comprehensive review program
  • System-wise CAT (Computer Adaptive Tests) practice questions
  • Live and/or recorded classes available
  • Notes, study materials, books, and extra readings
  • Daily performance check and doubt clarification
  • Mock tests before your exam

Our instructors are Registered Nurses with Canadian clinical experience who offer their expertise to support you every step of the way. We provide guidance and feedback during the course, and will help you create a study plan.

The live course is instructor-led on the Zoom app. Alternatively, we offer the same course for anyone who isn’t able to attend them live. In this case, we record the live sessions and upload them along with the notes on an online learning platform connected to our website. The online course is self-paced and is made accessible to you for two, three, or four months depending on the plan you choose.

We prepare candidates for entry level nurse competencies to practice safely and effectively across Canada. Our experienced PhD Nursing instructor with over five years of experience teaching NCAS RN/ LPN will be leading the group. We will provide classes of CBA and practical classes of SLA along with pre-readings, study material, and oral assessments.

We provide classes to explain in detail how to successfully pass the listening, reading, writing, and speaking modules. We also provide notes, online access to reading and listening material, writing tasks, and help you practice speaking with our qualified nurse instructor before you go for your actual exam.
